Dear Family and Friends,
I have officially completed my World Race Gap Year experience. A couple days ago, I arrived home from the final debrief and time with my entire squad in Gainesville, GA, after being home for about a month. This was the last time we will all be together in this context, and got to worship the Lord together and enjoy one another. As I think back over the last year of all that I have experienced, all the Lord has done, the people I have met, the places I have been, and the way the Lord has provided for me, I am overwhelmed by the faithfulness of our Father. He continually knew exactly what I needed and not once did He let me down. I am overcome by His grace as I look at all that it took for me to go on this gap year and have this experience. Now that it is over, I get to just look back at the goodness and beauty of Christ in His love for me and in all the ways He allowed me to be touched by Him and to touch others through His love.
I would like to thank each of you, for your continued prayer and support throughout this season. When I say that it would not have happened without you, I am not exaggerating. There were many times that I was encouraged and pushed forward just by the fact that I had people at home interceding on my behalf and I believe the Lord kept me safe and close partly because of your prayer and I am beyond thankful and humbled. Each of you has played an irreplaceable role in this journey and you are being used for the Kingdom solely by your prayer and support, and I am so excited that I got to include you in what the Lord has done and is doing. Thank you for your kindness and generosity and for allowing the Lord to lead you, even though you may not know or really see the full outcome. I am encouraged by your faith.
Moving forward, many people have been wondering and asking what I am doing next. So, I am excited to announce that I am going to be attending Revolution Five Leadership Institute this year beginning in August. This is a nine month leadership and discipleship school with the goal of training and developing young people to love God and people with purpose and persuasion in every sphere of society. I believe this is the next step for me in order to dive deep into the character of God while learning leadership skills that will benefit me for the rest of my life in whatever the Lord calls me.
